Inquiries about the University's compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits
discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and
Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability;
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; and the Age

Title II, Higher Education Act
In October 1998, the U.S. Congress enacted amendments to the Higher Education Act requiring institutions of
higher education to report the "pass rate" of graduates on tests required by the State for teacher certification.
For 2008-2009, the institution pass rate for UMF was 100%, compared with the statewide pass rate of 99%, reinforcing
the excellence of UMF's programs and the quality of its graduates.
