The University of Maine at Farmington: the Affordable Alternative
In thinking about college costs, value — what you actually get for your money — is most important. And that’s where the University of Maine at Farmington (UMF) becomes even more attractive.

Nationally Recognized as a Great College Value
You may already know that the University of Maine at Farmington was named one of "America’s Best Colleges" 15 years in a row by U.S.News & World Report (1998-2012).

But the University of Maine at Farmington was also recognized by U.S.News as one its 2012 "Great Schools, Great Prices." *New England Regional Student Program: Tuition Discounts for Non-Maine Residents
Through the New England Regional Program, students from other New England states and Canada can apply for certain academic programs at UMF and pay reduced tuition. The academic programs that qualify for this vary by state. (See the link, New England Regional Program, for details.)

That's a savings of more than $4,500 per year!

The financial requirements of the University, changing costs, state and legislative action, and other matters may require adjustment of these published charges and expenses. The University reserves the right, up to the date of final registration for a given academic term, to make such adjustments as may be deemed necessary by the University of Maine System Board of Trustees. The applicant acknowledges this reservation by submitting an application for admission or registration.
