We Want You to Join Us
College students from across the nation seek to transfer to the University of Maine at Farmington for a variety of reasons:

Some want to be closer to home; others want to experience someplace far away and different from what they know. Some want a school where they'll get the close personal attention UMF is famous for, others seek a specific major we offer. And some are looking to advance from a 2-year college to a 4-year institution.

Still other students transfer here for our spectacular mountains and lakes location, some want our strong academic reputation — most want both. And some simply want to go someplace more affordable or are looking for a fresh start at college.

Whatever your reasons for seeking to transfer here, we truly appreciate your interest in us and we look forward to reviewing your transfer application. If we can help you at any step along the way, please do not hesitate to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you.
