Farmington – the Affordable Alternative
Parents want a high quality college education for their children, but many families are concerned about finding
an affordable option. In these difficult economic times, more and more families are taking an even closer look
at state-supported colleges.
And what they’re finding at Farmington is that they get the best of both worlds:
A nationally-recognized liberal arts college at surprisingly affordable price.
Non-Maine residents as low as $20,940* per year
It’s true – a highly respected, high quality college education is still within your reach – at the University of Maine at Farmington. Now more than ever, Farmington is a smart choice.
But Price Alone is Not the Only Consideration
In thinking about college cost, value – what you actually get for your money – is most important.
And that’s where the Farmington option becomes even more attractive, especially for Mainers.
Here, you get outstanding quality. Farmington is a selective, nationally-recognized liberal arts college. And because it is state-supported and keeps operating costs down, it is very attractively priced.
Named one of “America’s Best Colleges” 13 years in a row by U.S.News & World Report, Farmington was also just one of just 20 colleges and universities across the nation featured in “Student Success in College: Creating Conditions That Matter,“ which identifies schools that serve as models of educational effectiveness. (This report actually surveyed Farmington students about what they thought of their college experience.)
