*New England Regional Program tuition discount for out-of-state students: If you are admitted from another New England state into a University of Maine Farmington major program that is not offered by the public institutions in your home state, you may be eligible for reduced tuition. Through the New England Regional Program, students from other New England states and Canada can apply for certain academic programs at UMF and pay reduced tuition. The academic programs that qualify for this vary by state. That's a value of more than $4,500 per year.
