Office of Conferences and Events

A wonderfully vibrant downtown area just a short walk from campus. Pristine lakes and rivers. Spectacular hiking, canoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, golfing — all just minutes from campus.

An on-campus Fitness Center, award-winning dining and catering service, extensive hi-tech presentation capabilities, on-site athletic fields, art gallery, library, performance halls, large lecture halls, small conference rooms, loads of convenient and free parking, overnight residence halls accommodations in the summertime.

Could there be a finer — or more affordable — place in western Maine to hold your next function?

Book Your Next Function at UMF
From September to May, even while UMF classes are in session, the Conferences and Events Office is open for business — booking a wide range of functions: large and small, simple to complex, for all kinds of businesses, organizations, churches and groups.

And from May to September, UMF Conferences and Events shifts into even higher gear — hosting functions for organizations from New York City to New Sharon, Maine. (Many summertime functions include overnight stays while our students have cleared out for the summer break.)

Whether it's a formal conference that requires award-winning banquet facilities for a white linen catered setting; multi-media presentation facilities and seating for 250; or maybe something smaller, we can do it for you — and at an affordable price.
