Business Psychology
Degree Earned
Bachelor of Arts: Interdisciplinary Studies, concentration in Business Psychology
Business is essentially the creation and sale of goods and services to other people. Psychology is an attempt to understand human behavior. Combine the two and you'll develop a powerful and valuable understanding of what motivates people to buy products and services.
Farmington's new Interdisciplinary Business Psychology program combines the teaching psychological dynamics and solid business practices, allowing you to become effective and savvy businessperson in today's global market.
Because business today is more international in scope, you'll need to be prepared to interact with people of different cultures and beliefs. With these thoughts in mind we encourage you to also participate in an international exchange program that includes the study of a language other than English. (We will help you with this.)
Here, you'll work closely with professors who introduce you to real-world business concepts such as economic theory, accounting, management, marketing, finance, computer application, entrepreneurship and international business. Our Interdisciplinary Business Psychology faculty - many of whom work as private consultants, counselors, or are actively engaged in business endeavors - will share their professional perspectives on current business challenges and best practices.
Whether you're interested in starting your own business, building a career in a large corporation, conducting overseas research, or earning an M.B.A. or a degree in law, an Interdisciplinary Business Psychology degree from Farmington will provide you with the background and experience to help you reach your goals.
