NEW: Outdoor Rec Business Administration (ORBA)
Over the past year, we worked closely with our partners in recreation and tourism: Saddleback, Sugarloaf, and Sunday River ski resorts; Maine Huts & Trails; the Maine Office of Tourism; Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA); the Maine Woods Consortium; and others to develop an innovative new recreation-related interdisciplinary program — Outdoor Recreation Business Administration (ORBA).

ALL of the above-mentioned Academic Programs: interdisciplinary Outdoor Rec. Business Administration, Community Health Education, Community Health Education - School Health Ed concentration, Rehabilitation Administration, and Rehabilitation Services program not only encourage internship and student teaching opportunities — the require them, providing you with valuable outside-the-classroom, hands-on learning experiences.

These off-campus learning activites will help you gain a better understanding of just how their industries work, helping you to connect classroom theory to real-world practice while you make solid professional contacts and develop valuable, marketable skills.
