University of Maine at Farmington

Farmington is a Division III NCAA school and competes in the North Atlantic Conference. We are also affiliated with the US Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association. We currently offer the following sports: Women's Basketball, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Golf, Lacrosse, Skiing (Alpine and Nordic), Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball; Men's Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Skiing (Alpine and Nordic), and Soccer. Men's Lacrosse begins in spring 2010. If you're interested in competing in sports at the collegiate level but just can't make the time commitment varsity athletics requires, then Club Sports may be a perfect option for you. We currently field Club teams in Men's Rugby and Ice Hockey; Women's Rugby; and Co-ed Ultimate Disc. And our student-run Intramurals program is very popular as well. Our Athletics facilities include Dearborn Gymnasium, Prescott Fields, the Fitness and Recreation Center, and Hippach Field. We also use as our "home facilities" Belgrade Lakes Golf Club and Sugarloaf ski resort.
