Environmental Science at Farmington

As an Environmental Science student at Farmington you'll work side-by-side with professors in classes, labs and in the field, conducting research in nearby forests, lakes, rivers, mountains and coastal settings. Much of your experience will be hands-on training in lab and field experimentation and analysis for course-related projects of local or regional interest. Our pristine location at the foothills of the mountains in western Maine gives you access to a wealth of field-study opportunities -- right in our own backyard. And if you'd to combine your research interests with travel, our Environmental Science programs offer a variety of summer internship and travel course opportunities in Mass., Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Montana, California, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Ireland, Scotland, Newfoundland and Costa Rica.
