Outdoor Amphitheater/Abbott Park

When the weather’s nice and you want a place to relax a bit between classes, the outdoor amphitheater is the place to be. Check your e-mail on your wireless laptop, read a chapter before the next class, eat lunch, grab a cup of coffee, or just hang with your friends. Professors often hold classes outside here, too. Located just behind the Olsen Student Center and the Roberts Learning Center, the Amphitheater is also the site of annual outdoor concerts and other performances. Nearby Abbott Park is a beautiful, quiet, natural spot on campus — with picturesque Rollo Pond, a babbling brook, and a big part of the lush UMF Arboretum. It’s very Green. Very pretty. Very UMF.
