Mantor Library, Mallett Hall, Computer Center
Inside Mantor Library you can browse the Internet, check out a book, study alone at a carrel or with friends in a group study room, read a newspaper or magazine, or watch a movie for a class on videotape or DVD. Its online catalog houses not only the records of 100,000+ volumes but provides you with a gateway to every library in the seven-campus University of Maine System -- more than 2 million volumes. One of UMF’s original residence halls, Mallett Hall houses around 108 students. Every residence hall building at UMF is passkey protected 24/7, has on-site coin-operated laundry facilities, a small kitchenette, and a main lounge on the first floor. The fully-staffed UMF Computer Center is the center of the University’s wired, wireless, and dial-in universe, with general purpose labs (open 24/7 year-round), two classroom labs, an Art Lab and LOTS more.
