Prescott Field - Other Playing Fields

This side of Prescott Field is where more UMF sports are played. It’s the home field for our women’s varsity field hockey team (we’re in the white jerseys) and women’s varsity softball team. It’s also the home pitch for the UMF men’s and women’s rugby clubs (UMF is in the green & gold mud-caked shirts) when they compete against other colleges and the home field for the UMF Ultimate Frisbee club team, which also competes against other colleges. UMF’s outdoor intramural sports are played down here, too: co-ed softball, flag football, and more. The town uses the Prescott Field for its youth soccer program, too, and many UMF students volunteer as coaches and officials. Just beyond the tree line is the crystal-clear Sandy River—a popular late spring/summer swimming area.
