Purington Res Hall Room (Single)

One of UMF’s original residence halls, Purington Hall houses around 130 students (about 60% women, 40% men). The 3-story building is co-ed by door (not by floor) and primarily houses UMF juniors and seniors. Most rooms in Purington Hall are doubles, a few are triples. Every residence hall building at UMF is passkey protected 24/7, has on-site coin-operated laundry facilities, a small kitchenette, and a main lounge on the first floor for meetings, studying and watching television. Each room comes furnished with beds, study desks, desk chairs, bureaus, closets, and overhead lighting. The rooms also come with a phone line, free cable TV and are wired and wireless Internet-ready. This is a single room in Purington Hall. The UMF student who lives here works as a resident assistant — an on-site student mentor. (In case you’re wondering, he picked up the surfboard while on exchange to a school in Hawaii. He uses the mountain bike and skis at nearby Sugarloaf/USA and Titcomb Mountain.)
