Ricker and Preble Halls, Dearborn Gymnasium

To the left are Ricker Hall and Preble Hall—UMF’s main science buildings. These two 3-story buildings house the science classrooms, science labs and specialty computer labs (Geology Lab, Spatial Ecology Lab, Physics Lab). UMF’s GIS Lab alone features networked PCs with Arc-Info and IDRISI software, Calcomp digitizers and pen plotters—offering you the tools you need for hands-on experience in your field. The building also houses our Natural Sciences Department and the UMF Women’s Studies Center. To the right is Dearborn Gym—home of UMF Varsity Athletics and the home court of the über-successful UMF Beavers women’s and men’s basketball programs and women's volleyball.
